The property was evaluated and then planned in phases for conversion from the mature hedges and a “mow blow and go” landscape to a habitat rich, interesting landscape that attracts beneficial wildlife and fits the HOA budget. Worked closely with Mission Blue Nursery, Brisbane, to source local native plants and a local wholesale nursery. Highlights: chemical and biological soil analyses and amendments, irrigation conversion from spray to in line drip, fertigation units, arbor care and integrated pest management coordination, interior plants. Great partnership with arborist and landscape contractor.
Novato HOA
The property is steadily moving toward a lower maintenance, colorful, and defensible landscape with the support of the HOA Board, property manager and guidance from the local fire department. Focus on changing out mature hedges and ivy for a more updated landscape and improving the irrigation in strategic ways. Highlights: irrigation conversion from spray to drip, arbor care and survey to protect urban forest, development of a plant palette that is more firesafe and interesting. Great partnership with arborist and landscape contractor.
